The Journey

Experience electric long-haul trucking firsthand!

From 15 to 23 April, the “Power to Go Further” Tour will take five electric heavy-duty trucks from leading manufacturers on a 1,000 km journey from Paris to Berlin, crossing France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany and charging exclusively at Milence hubs along the route.

As electric road transport moves from ambition to reality, the tour will demonstrate that it is not only possible but increasingly economically viable for key freight operations, highlighting Europe’s growing readiness for zero-emission freight.

23 April | Scaling electric freight in Germany

Location: Berlin city center

Tour conclusion and discussion about Germany’s electrification challenge: accelerating infrastructure deployment to support strong utilisation.

Attendance by personal invitation only.

The challenge

Decarbonising road transport

Heavy-duty road transport is the backbone of Europe’s economy, moving the goods that keep businesses and societies running. Yet it also represents one of the sector’s greatest climate challenges.

Diesel trucks account for nearly a quarter of road transport emissions in Europe, making the decarbonisation of freight essential for achieving Europe’s climate goals.

For Milence, this challenge is a call to action: to rethink how goods move, how infrastructure is built, and how we power the future of logistics.

The solution

Europe’s first electric freight corridors are taking shape

Milence is building Europe’s largest public charging network for heavy-duty vehicles, with more than 33 hubs already operational along key transport corridors.

These charging hubs are enabling the first electric long-haul freight routes, demonstrating that cross-border electric trucking is becoming a practical reality.

From Barcelona to Lyon, Antwerp to Stockholm, and Paris to Berlin, electric corridors are emerging across the continent, moving electric trucking from pilot projects to real operational freight routes.

The shared vision

Efficient, sustainable and smart logistics

The transition to zero-emission freight requires collaboration across the entire transport ecosystem. Truck manufacturers, logistics operators, policymakers, energy providers and infrastructure developers all play a role in scaling electric heavy-duty transport.

Across Europe, the business case for electric trucking is strengthening. Updated lifecycle Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modelling shows improving economics across key use cases, supported by favourable policies, more efficient vehicles and the growing availability of public charging infrastructure.

Now it's time to scale!
