Milence participating at Transport Logistic fair in Munich

The Milence team will be attending the upcoming Transport Logistic fair, taking place in Munich from 9 to 12 May 2023. This is an opportunity for Milence to present its innovative solutions and approach to accelerating and supporting the transition to electric trucking in Europe.

With more than 2000 exhibitors and 64000 visitors, Transport Logistic is the world’s leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, information technology and supply chain management. Thus, it serves as an ideal platform to discuss the most important challenges currently facing the industry and to present opportunities for innovation.

As the transport sector contributes significantly to carbon emissions, reducing these emissions rapidly is key for reducing the impacts and severity of climate change. The European Union has set a target of carbon neutrality by 2050 to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement, and zero-emission trucks will play a key role in meeting Europe’s climate targets. To achieve this objective, Europe’s largest truck manufacturers pledge to only sell zero-emission vehicles from 2040. This commitment is expected to lead to significant growth in the electric heavy-duty truck market, further driven by breakthroughs in battery technology, economic competitiveness, and support from policymakers.

Milence is committed to sustainability and is developing solutions that support the transition to a zero-emission transport sector. We are focused on building a network of public charge points for electric trucks using renewable energy and providing the best rest-and-recharge experience for the drivers.
